Addressing Reproductive Rights and HIV Prevention
Ending AIDS as a public health threat while aiming for universal access to Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) remains a dual strategic goal of both HIV/AIDS and SRH programming. This cross journal supplement explores different methods of achieving this in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The prevention, treatment and care of HIV, and opportunities for sexual reproductive health care may seem like two different goals, but the two are intrinsically entwined. Researchers around the world are looking at ways to address both simultaneously, and effectively provide the public with the best healthcare and advice.
This cross-journal thematic series explores different ways of achieving this goal, specifically in Sub-Saharan Africa, an area of the globe home to 25.6 million people living with HIV and where SRH is often limited.
