On 11th July 2018, Springer Nature hosted the Science and the Sustainable City Summit, co-located with the World Cities Summit. During the day, the approximately 150 in-person attendees were treated to presentations and panel discussions about how to make cities more sustainable in the future. The presenters and panellists discussed new developments in technology and policy as well as the latest academic research and examples from cities like Singapore and Melbourne that have been working hard to create a sustainable future for their citizens.
